설립목적 (Purpose of Establishment)

국제협력의 가교 역할로서 북미 지역의 인적 네트워킹, 공동연구 기회 발굴 및 지원 등을 담당하는 미국내 지원 및 협력 허브
A support and cooperation hub in the United States that serves as a bridge for international cooperation and is responsible for human networking, and joint research opportunity discovery and support in North America.

연혁 (History)

• 2022. 9. 1. 센터 설립
  Sept 1, 2022: Center established as a Virginia non-profit corporation
• 2022. 9. 20. 센터 개소식 및 6개 공동연구센터 워크샵
  Sept 20, 2022: Opening Ceremony and Workshop of 6 Joint Research Centers
• 2022. 11. QWC 2022에서 부스 운영 및 발표
  Nov 2022: Participated in QWC 2022 with a booth and presentations showing the status of quantum technology investment and development in Korea
• 2023. 4. 양자기술 국제다자회의 참여
  March 2023: Participated in the Multilateral Quantum Dialogue at Paris, France
• 2023. 5. 한-미 과기공동위 양자 roundtable 참여 및 발표
  May 2023: Presented at the Quantum Sidetable of the Korea-US Joint Committee Meeting
• 2023. 6. 퀀텀코리아 2023 참석
  June 2023: Participated in the Quantum Korea 2023
• 2023. 9. QWC 2023에서 부스 운영 및 한국양자전략발표
  Sept 2023: Helped KQIA participate in QWC 2023 with booths, and presented Korean National Quantum Strategy

  Oct 2023: Participated in the Multilateral Quantum Dialogue at Copenhagen, Denmark, and Amsterdam Netherlands.

비전 및 목표 (Vision & Target)

• 비전 : 미국을 비롯한 북미 지역과 한국의 양자기술 생태계가 유기적으로 연계되도록 지원하는 협력 허브
  Vision : A cooperation hub that supports organic connection between the quantum technology ecosystem of North America and Korea
• 목표 : 북미의 학계와 산업계의 의미 있는 주요 활동들에 한국이 참여하고 전세계적 생태계의 일원이 될 수 있도록 지원.
  Goal : Support Korea's participation in major meaningful activities in Norht American academia and industry sector and enable Korean researchers and companies to become members of the global ecosystem.
